The Big face

What is the Big face?

Big is an oversized analog dial whose four numerals are placed by hand rather than on a circle. Each one sits slightly off where the geometry would put it, and each is rotated a few degrees, so the dial reads as drawn rather than plotted. It is the least tidy face in ART'EDGE, deliberately.

The hands are scaled up to match and carry a tail past the centre, which keeps the composition balanced when both hands fall on the same side of the dial. At full-screen size on a large display it is the face that behaves most like a poster.

What movements does Big support?

Big runs on Quartz or Mechanical. There is no Dots option — the pulse that Orbit uses gets lost against numerals this size.
